Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 28/09/2026
Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases and subscriptions made through timezik for access to Course A, our media timing and production resource. Course A provides detailed guidance on broadcast schedules, studio cues, camera timing, audio checks, and smooth workflows for live shows. The policy covers digital access to training modules, interactive tools, downloadable resources, and any related subscription services offered to customers in the United Kingdom. It does not apply to third-party services or physical products.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes, and Any Additional Charges
All prices for Course A are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Prices include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. Additional charges may include one-time setup fees for premium features or renewal costs for ongoing access. Customers will see the full breakdown, including any taxes, before completing a purchase. timezik reserves the right to adjust prices with notice, but existing subscriptions will honour the rate at the time of purchase.
Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation, and Payment Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as secure bank transfers where available. Payments are authorised at the time of order placement. All transactions are processed through secure, PCI-compliant gateways to protect your financial information. timezik does not store card details on its servers. In the event of authorisation failure, you will be notified immediately and given the opportunity to retry with alternative details.
Order, Booking, or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed
Upon successful payment, you will receive an email confirmation containing your access details for Course A. A binding contract is formed when we send this confirmation. Access to broadcast schedules, studio cues, camera timing resources, audio checks, and workflow tools begins immediately for digital subscriptions unless otherwise stated.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods
Under UK consumer law, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase during which you may cancel without giving a reason. For digital content, this right ends once you begin downloading or streaming the material. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time after the initial period, with access continuing until the end of the paid term.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions, and Non-Refundable Items or Services
Refunds are available within the cooling-off period if you have not accessed the core content. Exclusions apply to partially used subscriptions, promotional bundles, and any customised production workflow consultations. Non-refundable items include one-time purchases of downloadable cue sheets or timing templates once accessed.
The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order number, date of purchase, and reason for the request. Include your account details associated with Course A access. We will acknowledge receipt within two working days and guide you through any further steps required under UK regulations.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection, and Notification of the Refund Decision
Our team will review each request within five working days. You will be notified by email of approval or rejection, along with the rationale. If rejected, you may provide additional information for reconsideration. Decisions are final after this review process.
Refund Method, Processing Time, and When Funds Should Reach the Customer
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes five to ten working days, after which funds should appear in your account within an additional three to five days depending on your bank. timezik will confirm completion via email.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services, or Promotional Offers Where Relevant
For digital subscriptions to live show production resources, refunds are limited once content has been accessed. Promotional offers are non-refundable after redemption. Recurring subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date, with clear reminders sent in advance.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks, and Suspected Fraud
In cases of failed payments, access to Course A will be suspended until resolved. Duplicate charges will be investigated and refunded promptly upon verification. Suspected fraudulent activity may lead to account suspension and reporting to relevant UK authorities. Chargebacks are handled in accordance with card scheme rules and may affect future purchasing privileges.
Mandatory Consumer Rights in the Target Country That the Policy Cannot Exclude
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Consumer Contracts Regulations. You retain rights to remedies for faulty digital services, including repair, replacement, or refund where appropriate. Nothing in this policy excludes liability for negligence or fraud.
