Who operates the site and acceptance of the terms

timezik operates this website as a commercial service providing Course A media timing and production resources focused on broadcast schedules, studio cues, camera timing, audio checks and smooth workflows for live shows. By accessing or using the site you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree you must stop using the site immediately. These terms constitute a binding contract between you and timezik under the laws of the United Kingdom.

Eligibility and permitted use

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a contract to use this service. The site is intended for professional broadcasters, production teams and related organisations based in the United Kingdom or elsewhere where use is lawful. You may access the resource solely for legitimate business purposes connected with planning and executing live productions. Any other use requires prior written consent from timezik.

Prohibited conduct

You must not attempt to disrupt the service, reverse engineer any timing tools, upload malicious content, impersonate others, or use the resource to schedule or promote illegal broadcasts. Automated scraping of schedules or cues is forbidden without express permission. Violations may result in immediate suspension and legal action.

Accounts, submissions and user content

Where accounts are created you are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login details. Any schedules, cues or production notes you submit remain your responsibility. timezik may use anonymised data to improve workflow tools but will not publish identifiable user content without consent. You warrant that submissions do not infringe third-party rights.

Ownership of site content, trademarks and permitted limited use

All timing templates, cue sheets, workflow diagrams and related materials are protected by copyright and belong to timezik or its licensors. You may print or download limited excerpts for internal production planning only. Trademarks such as the timezik name and logo may not be used without written approval. Any other reproduction is prohibited.

Third-party services and links

The site may reference external broadcast software, timing hardware suppliers or streaming platforms. These links are provided for convenience only. timezik does not endorse or guarantee the performance of third-party products and accepts no liability for their use in your live shows.

Availability, changes, suspension and termination

timezik aims to keep the resource available during normal production hours but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify features, suspend accounts or terminate access for breach of these terms. You may stop using the site at any time. Upon termination all licences granted revert to timezik.

Disclaimers subject to mandatory consumer law

The service is provided on an as-is basis. While we strive for accuracy in broadcast schedules and cue timing, timezik makes no warranty that timings will be error-free or suitable for every live production. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other non-excludable right under UK law.

Limitation of liability

Subject to the above, timezik total liability for any claim arising from use of the site shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim. This cap applies to all losses including loss of production time, reputational damage or missed broadcast deadlines. You acknowledge that live media production carries inherent risks that you alone control through your own checks and rehearsals.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify timezik against claims, losses and expenses arising from your breach of these terms, your content submissions or your use of timing data in actual live broadcasts that result in third-party complaints.

Governing law, courts and consumer dispute rights

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their local courts. You retain all rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and alternative dispute resolution routes where applicable.

Severability, waiver, changes, contact route and last-updated date

If any provision is found invalid the remainder continues in force. Failure to enforce any term does not constitute a waiver. timezik may update these terms; continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
